Naomi Richards, author and life coach for children, shared her expertise on how to help children to be their best with over 50 mums from across Manchester at an event organized by the Big Birthday Appeal.

Held at the home of Nicola Fine in Hale, the event also featured a question and answer session, when mums quizzed Naomi on topics ranging from how to stop squabbling between siblings to how to get kids to tidy their rooms without being nagged.

Known as The Kids’ Coach, Naomi helps children to resolve a wide range of behavioural and emotional issues in an interactive, creative and supportive way. She is the author of The Parent’s Toolkit, published by Random House, and has been recognised as a Remarkable Woman – a female entrepreneur who is leading the way in a chosen career path – in an initiative backed by Nokia. Naomi also writes for many parenting, teenage and women’s magazines and regularly adds her thoughts on the world of children and parenting in the press and on Sky News.

Suzy Glaskie, co-founder of the Big Birthday Appeal, said: “This was the first time that Naomi had spoken in Manchester and we were very privileged to be able to gain some new insights and practical tips to  help our kids to thrive.”
