Naomi Richards, author and life coach for children, will be speaking on “Helping our children to be their best” at a Big Birthday Appeal event on Tuesday 20 May from 11.00am to 1.00pm.

Known as The Kids’ Coach, Naomi helps children to resolve a wide range of behavioural and emotional issues in an interactive, creative and supportive way.

She is the author of The Parent’s Toolkit, published by Random House, and has been recognised as a Remarkable Woman – a female entrepreneur who is leading the way in a chosen career path – in an initiative backed by Nokia. Naomi also writes for many parenting, teenage and women’s magazines and regularly adds her thoughts on the world of children and parenting in the press and on Sky News.

Suzy Glaskie, co-founder of the Big Birthday Appeal, said: “We’re delighted that local parents will get the chance to meet Naomi and benefit from her vast experience of helping kids to be their best.”

The event will be held at the home of Big Birthday mum Nicola Fine in Hale.

Tickets cost £10, including refreshments, with all proceeds going to the Big Birthday Appeal which raises funds for local Jewish children with special needs via The Fed’s Project Smile.

A limited number of pre-booked, one-to-one sessions with Naomi will be available at the event.
