Like most parents, we’d like our children to grow up to be kind, considerate and compassionate towards those children who are in need. That’s why we’ve launched the Big Birthday Appeal.

The Appeal is designed specifically to encourage children to help other children and gives even toddlers the opportunity to get directly involved with raising money for children in need.

Children do not see and cannot relate to donations made via cheque, charity voucher or credit card…but they love the Big Birthday Appeal’s bright and colourful stickers. Sticking them onto presents is lots of fun and easy enough for even little fingers to do by themselves.

By adopting the Big Birthday Appeal, your children will be doing their very own bit for charity on a regular basis, not just once a year. We believe that little and often is the best way to make charity a part of children’s lives and thereby foster the next generation of charitable community members.

Since its launch in Manchester in 2001, the Big Birthday Appeal has raised £17,000 for children’s charities and won the passionate support of parents and head teachers of nurseries and schools across the country and beyond.
